Editorial policy and authorship

BetBuddy's educational content is written by the team that maintains the system it describes. This page sets out who writes what, where the numbers come from, and the claims we will never make.

Who writes BetBuddy articles

BetBuddy Editorial Team

BetBuddy's editorial team writes the education library and reviews every article against the production system it describes. Formulas are taken from the code that runs the staking engine, and any performance figure quoted comes from the tracked results ledger rather than from an example.

BetBuddy Model Desk

The model desk maintains BetBuddy's odds ingestion, dropping-odds detection and settlement pipeline. Articles carrying this by-line describe the behaviour of the production analysis stack as it is currently implemented.

We do not publish invented author personas, and we do not claim professional qualifications, licences or credentials that we do not hold. A by-line describes the function inside BetBuddy that produced and reviewed the article.

How claims are sourced

Formulas quoted in articles are taken from the staking and analysis code that runs in production, not from a generic textbook description. Where an article refers to BetBuddy's own results, it links to the tracked data rather than restating a number that could drift out of date.

Review and updates

Every article carries a publication date and a last-updated date. When the production system changes — a staking rule, a gate, a data source — the affected articles are revised and the updated date moves. Articles that no longer reflect the system are corrected or withdrawn rather than left in place.

New articles are added when search data and reader questions show a genuine gap, not to inflate the number of pages. Draft and thin pages are not served publicly and are excluded from the sitemap.

What we will never claim

Betting carries financial risk. No article, model or staking plan on this site removes that risk, and past performance does not guarantee future results.

  • No guaranteed profit, guaranteed returns or guaranteed winning bets.
  • No risk-free betting, and no claim that any selection is certain.
  • No performance figure that is not reproducible from the published ledger.
  • No invented testimonials, credentials or expert endorsements.

BetBuddy operates in paper mode: stakes are simulated and no bookmaker account is connected. See responsible gambling for support resources.
